Whether you are an artist, an immigrant, a member of this community, or all of the above, we would love to make a connection with you. Our space is currently located in studio 20 at Globe Studios (formerly the Bonnie Stuart Shoe Factory). We are in the office consistantly during business hours 9 - 5, Monday - Friday.

Walk or drive to the MT Space

There are several ways to reach 141 Whitney Place by car or on foot. The Space is about a 15 minute walk from Kitchener City Hall. One way it can be reached is:

Go south on King Street (from Kitchener downtown)
Go right on Cedar St. (west at the intersection with the New Kitchener Market)
Go past Courtland Ave., Cedar ends when it intersects with Whitney Place.
Visitor parking is located behind Globe Studios.

For those of you coming via the 401 or Highway 7:

Go North on King Street
Go left on Cedar St. (west / intersection with the New Kitchener Market)
Go past Courtland Ave., Cedar ends when it intersects with Whitney Place.
Visitor parking is located behind Globe Studios.

Directions to the MT Space by Bus

There are two GRT (Grand River Transit) buses that depart from the Frederick St. bus terminal in Kitchener. Both buses pass Cedar Street which turns into Whitney Place (GRT Route Schedules here):

Route 8 - Courtland goes along Courtland Avenue. The stop is just past Cedar Street.
Route 3 - Idlewood also goes along Courtland Avenue. The stop is just past Cedar Street.

The Registry Theatre, Kitchener

122 Frederick St. | Kitchener

The Registry Theatre located near downtown Kitchener is a recently renovated, intimate space seating over a hundred people. The MT Space ensemble performs here regularly, when they can squeeze in a booking at the busy theatre.
