The Fear Project

About The Fear Project

fear is separating. fear is exclusive. yet, we all share it.

The Fear Project investigates a series of fears that many women identify with in a western society and asks the question, “How does fear inhibit our ability to connect?” Social expectations of physical attractiveness, heterosexuality, and motherhood are so prevalent in a culture wrought with conservative ideology; it is only when the fear of adhering to these social expectations is identified within and later embraced, that we can truly feel what it means to be free. Featuring a cast of six women, The Fear Project is at times very real, at others surreal – but above all, call it theatre for social change.

Produced by The Studio Players in partnership with The MT Space and Flush Ink Productions (Canada).
