Alan K. Sapp

Alan K. Sapp is a founding member of Lost & Found Theatre, and currently is serving as the Educational Director.  This year marks the return of the Young Ensemble Theatre program, a training program taught by professionals for grade 11 and 12 students.  

This past fall, Alan directed Pearl Gidley for Lost & Found and during the summer, he performed with Drayton Entertainment, playing Patty Townsend in Italian Funerals and other Festive Occasions.  Favourite roles include:  C.S. Lewis in Shadowlands, Donald Jackson in Three in the Back, Two in the Head, and Albert in Einstein's Gift, all with Theatre & Company.  

Alan has premiered roles in two of Gary Kirkham's plays, Harold in Falling: A Wake (Lost & Found) and Godfrey in Queen Milli of Galt (Theatre & Company).  Favourite directing projects include: Twelfth Night and Our Town, both at the University of Waterloo, and Godspell, at Rockway Mennonite Collegiate, where Alan also teaches grade 10/11 drama.  

Alan lives in Kitchener with his wife, Dawn.  They have three children: Joseph (23), Olivia (20), and Abigail (13).
